North Country Quilters & Sew ‘n Vac has the complete “Fresh Meadow” batik collection for the 2024-2025 Hoffman Challenge. If you love batiks as much as we do, why not join the challenge? The Hoffman Challenge is an online competition with cash awards. If your entry is a finalist or award winner it will “go on tour” for a year and be displayed in Hoffman’s virtual showroom as well as quilt shows and festivals, museums and libraries, cultural centers, guilds, and even some Hoffman retailers.

A minimum of five of these challenge fabrics must be used in the body of the quilt top or garment in recognizable, but not necessarily equal amounts. While we love when you use Hoffman’s fabrics, we invite you to use fabric from any manufacturer in addition to the required challenge fabrics.

The Hoffman Challenge offers categories such as “Quilts”, “Clothing”, “Accessories”, “Youth”, and “Best Use of Aurifil Thread” (which we also carry).

Deadline for registration and online submission is January 15, 2025.
